Erfurt/Frankfurt am Main. Erfurt in Germany is awaiting its guests for
next year's 22nd IKA / Culinary Olympics. From October 18 to 22, 2008,
the world's best chefs and pastry chefs will gather in Erfurt to show
their expertise and know-how in culinary arts. The international
four-day competition which takes place only every four years is
considered the most important event in this field. And while the
hosting German Chefs Association is looking forward to welcoming
colleagues from more than 35 countries, an extraordinary city promotion

At some points we are not able yet to provide you with information.

Menus and reservation for the competition restaurants
You have to click here

To make a reservation in the restaurant, please email your reservation request to info@vkd.com. Upon receipt, we will inform you of the methods of payment and provide you with a reservation confirmation. Your reservation is confirmed as soon as we will have received your payment.
Drinks
For the first time at this
year at the Culinary Olympics it is possible to make cashless payments. You already
recieverd your menu-voucher or will buy it on location.
And now you may even order
you drinks in advance, or at least a token (Wertmarke) for it.
You may also surprise
colleagues or partners with those tokens as a present.
At our mail address info@vkd.com or by phone (0049.69-6300060) you
may order your tokens by advance-sale and pay with them in all the competion
restaurants or other sales stations at the IKA.
If you find out during you
visit, that you need more tokens, you may also by them on location.

We recommend you not to miss any of the competition restaurants, irrespective of whether it is that of the National Culinary Teams, the Junior National Culinary Teams, the National Culinary Teams Military or the Catering Teams.
